17th Mollington village hall, for a demo for the W.I. Paul says only 3 men of the side braved the Hall.
February
2nd The Rugby Cub, Rugby, Joint practice with Paragon Pit.
April
23rd St Georges Day, The Greyhound at Milton Malsor.  
May
1st May Day, Brackley Market Place.  8 sides.
Danced out Bleddington Black Joker for 1st time.
4th  The Dunn Cow at Daventry. Poor night
Monday 8th Weston Village Fete. 2 spots plus dance at pub
11th The Old Coach House at Ashby St. Ledgers.  
13th  Miscellany Morris tour from Cubbington, Near Leamington Spa. Including how not to feed a Morris side at a Fete! (i.e. 1 hot dog, a scone and tea – and no beer!)
18th  The Countryman at Staverton.   
25th The Windmill at Badby.   
June
3rd Adderbury Millennium Festival Where Royal Oak steal the publicity shots! – and the fridge magnets.
8th Red Lion Northend  
10th Warmington Fete  
11th Barnwell-near Peterborough All Paul can remember was the Revealing Dance Technique of Tap & Synch (Appalachian Tap-high kicking by girls!)
15th Star at Sulgrave or/and Marston St Lawrence

8th Royal Oak's Real 10th Anniversary Day of Dance at Banbury, Weston, Cropredy, Cannons Ashby, Mollington and Eydon. 2 Coach Tours (1listed) with Paragon Pit, Hereburgh & Elephant-up-a-Pole

6th Royal Oak re-opening, Eydon.  
30th AGM at the Royal Oak After some discussion as to whether we ought to give up dancing as we were all so old, the same crowd re-elected again.

7th Daventry, Bowen Square. Paul remembers Xmas dances a Hit - Snowballed by the youths of Daventry
16th  Byfield Village Hall John & Pat’s 25th wedding anniversary celebration.  Morris dance during barn dance. Sue arrived late straight from Peru.
