8th Queen's Oak Ale at Paulerspury Village Hall. Dancing to 'Sleeping Moggie'.
April
23rd St Georges Day First time at Stoke Bruerne.
8 sides, last appearance of Stony Stratford Morris.
26th Heyford Morris's Day of Dance  Bus tour calling at Sulgrave Manor, Balscote, Brailes, Hook Norton and Heyford.  

Bus hit trees & had to reverse, as we went on lanes where double decker buses do not usually go!)

No low bridges, fortunately!
May
1st  May Day morning at Brackley 7 sides. Old Woman for 5 invented. Sue's last dances – Country Gardens and Step and Fetch Her in the pub.
8th The Royal Oak at Eydon. Invent Shepard’s Hey on stools in the public bar.
15th The Star at Sulgrave. Ann does step dancing
22nd  The Bartholomew Arms at Blakesley. With Woadworks
24th Braunston Boat Show.  
June
5th The Crown at Weston.  
6th - 8th Suffolk weekend, visiting Mary & Tony Wilkinson Dancing at Framlingham, Leiston, Snape Maltings and Sweffling  "Medieval Confrontation Royal Oak men threatened at Framlingham Castle by Cavalaliers brandishing their weapons. A quick surrender ensued!"
12th The Marston Inn at Marston St. Lawrence.  
19th The Windmill at Badby.  
21st  Byfield Fete.

3rd The Coach and Horses at Daventry.  
10th The Dunn Cow at Daventry.  
12th Hereburgh Day of Dance.  At Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon and Charlcote.
17th  The Three Conies at Thorpe Mandeville.  
25th  The cross channel ferry.  
26th - 28th ‘Tour de France’ Les Anglais thrown off mount!  Visiting Avranche Market, Fougere Castle, St. James Market and Mont-St-Michel - '"interdit"!  Thrown off St Micheal's Mount

13th 'Recruiting' workshop at Abbey Buildings, Daventry. Only Jane comes along?

27th AGM at Royal Oak Pat stood down in favour of Paul Dennis as Squire, rest the same. (Later written up as a newspaper)
